Ilya Rashkovskiy (Irkoutsk, Russie) a commencé le piano à 5 ans et commence à composer dès l’âge de 6 ans. Il a donné son premier concert à 8 ans avec l’Orchestre de Chambre d’Irkoutsk. Diplomé du Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Hanovre (Vladimir Krainev), depuis 2009 il vit à Paris et y poursuit ses études avec Marian Rybicki à l’École normale supérieure de musique.
Ayant remporté le Premier Prix au Concours International de Vladimir Krainev à Kharkov (Ukraine) en 1998, au Concours International de Valsesia (Italie) en 2004, au Concours International de Jaén (Espagne) et de Hong Kong en 2005, il est également lauréat de plusieurs concours internationaux parmi lesquels le Concours Long-Thibaud en 2001, le Concours international de Vianna da Motta à Lisobnne en 2010 (2ème Prix) et le Concours Artur Rubinstein en 2011 (3ème Prix).
Ilya Rashkovskiy donne des récitals dans les grandes salles en Europe, au Japon et en Russie, notamment au Théâtre du Châtelet et à la Salle Pleyel à Paris, en Allemagne Philharmonie de Cologne et Essen, au Concertgebouw d’Amsterdam, au Bolchoï Hall du Conservatoire Tchaikovsky à Moscou ainsi qu’au Suntory Hall de Tokyo. Il a collaboré en tant que soliste avec l’Orchestre d’Etat de Russie, l’Orchestre philharmonique de Kiev, le Gulbenkian Orchestre, l’Orchestre National de Radio France, l’Orchestre symphonique national Tchèque et le New Japan Orchestre Symphonique. Il a été invité au Festival La Roque d’Anthéron et au Festival de Chopin à Duszniki Zdroj en Pologne.
En 2008 il a enregistré un disque consacré aux Saisons de Tchaikovsky chez Naxos et en 2009 un disque de fantaisies de Mozart, Chopin, Liszt et Scriabin chez Alpha Omega Hong Kong.

Sinds zijn Eerste Prijs op de Vladimir Krainevwedstrijd in Kharkov (Ukraïne) in 1998, won hij ook de Valsesiawedstrijd in 2004 en de wedstrijden van Jaén en Hong Kong in 2005. Daarnaast was hij laureaat van het Concours Long-Thibaud in 2001, de Vianna da Mottawedstrijd in 2010 en behaalde hij in 2011 de Derde Prijs op het Concours Artur Rubinstein.
Ilya Rashkovskiy heeft opgetreden in Europa, Japan en Rusland, meer bepaald in het Théâtre du Châtelet en de Salle Pleyel in Parijs, in de Philharmonieën van Keulen en Essen, het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, de Bolchoï Hall van het Tchaikovskyconservatorium in Moskou en de Suntory Hall in Tokio. Als solist werkte hij reeds samen met het Staatsorkest van Rusland, het Filharmonisch Orkest van Kiev, het Gulbenkian Orkest, het Orchestre National de Radio France en de New Japan Symphonic Orchestra. Hij was te gast op het festival van La Roque d’Anthéron en het Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdroj in Polen.
In 2008 wijdde hij een cd-opname aan de Seizoenen van Tchaikovsky voor het Naxos label en in 2009 nam hij werk van Mozart, Chopin, Liszt en Scriabin op voor Alpha Omega Hong Kong.
From the age of five, Ilya Rashkovskiy (Irkutsk, Russia) studied the piano and at the age of six he started to compose. He gave his first concert with orchestra at the age of eight. After studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater with Vladimir Krainev, since October 2009 he continues his education in Paris at l’Ecole normale supérieure de musique with Marian Rybicki.
Winner of the Vladimir Krainev International Pianists Competition (1998), the Valsesia-Musica (2004), Jaen and Hong Kong International Competitions (2005), he is also a laureate of the 2001 Long-Thibaud Competition (2nd Prize), the 2010 Vianna da Motta Competition (2nd prize) and the 2011 Artur Rubinstein Competition (3rd Prize).
Ilya Rashkovskiy has performed in Europe, Japan, and Russia, including the Bolshoy Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Philharmonie Essen and the Philharmonie Cologne, the Paris Théâtre du Châtelet and Salle Pleyel, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and Amsterdam Concertgebouw. He has collaborated as a soloist with the Russian State Symphony, the Kiev national Philharmonic, the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Radio France, the Czech National Symphony, and the New Japan Symphony. He has been invited to the Festival de La Roque d’Anthéron and the Chopin Festival at Duszniki Zdroj in Poland.
He recorded the Seasons and Sonata in c-sharp minor by Tchaikovsky with Naxos (2008) as well as Fantasies (Mozart, Chopin, Liszt and Scriabin) on Alpha Omega Hong Kong (2009).
