Released traditionally in the wake of the Competition, this year's 3CD box offers you the most touching semi-final and final performances of the first laureates of the session Piano 2007. Ideal to discover some of today's finest young pianists at the dawn of their careers, or to keep on enjoying their performances of masterpieces of the piano repertoire.
Be enchanted by first laureate Anna Vinnitskaya with her terrific interpretation of the Concerto n.2 by Prokofiev, Plamena Mangova - accompanied by the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, directed by Paul Goodwin - in her stirring Concerto n.9 by Mozart, the passion and poetry of Ilya Rashkovskiy in his Concerto n.3 by Rachmaninov with the National Orchestra of Belgium under the baton of Gilbert Varga. Also, experience the chamber music of Schubert, Debussy, Ravel, Chopin, Schumann and, of course, the works that were premiered during this competition: Dedicatio VI by the Belgian Kris Defoort and La Luna y la Muerte by Spaniard Miguel Gálvez-Taroncher (interpreted by Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort).
